Slow and steady wins the race

but things won't be going slow for long.

I have had alot of people ask me how my project is coming. Well, to be completely honest it had kind of reached a stopping point where I was playing the waiting game.

I have had the first draft of the script done for a few weeks. My cast has had a chance to see it so they know what is going on. I also sent the script to my theatre advisor for him to read and make notes and suggestions for me. He replied letting me know he is working on it, so now I am waiting on the response with all his comments.

So, with the script being edited the next logical thing to work on was music. Since this is why am I doing the project (because I am a music major, not theatre) this is where the most work will be. But again, I was playing a waiting game because I had to order the reduction music from the movie so I wasn't doing everything simply by ear.

Well, the good news is, it just came in!!!! I was so excited when I got the phone call. I was with a friend of mine, Stacey, and she knew as soon as we could we were going to go get the music.

I have it now, and have played through the simplfied versions of the song. I think this big note version is going to help alot mostly because it will force to me to develop alot of stuff on my and not just copy and paste music.

That is really all my updates for now. That and the fact that my Anastasia is currently in Switzerland!
